MANDELA EFFECT

There’s an unexplained phenomenon that you’ve probably experienced without knowing what it’s called, and it’s garnering more and more attention lately. "The Mandela effect" is what the internet is calling those curious instances in which many of us are certain we remember something a particular way, but it turns out were incorrect.

The name of the theory comes from many people feeling certain they could remember Nelson Mandela dying while he was still in prison back in the ’90s. Contrary to what many thought, Mandela’s actual death was on Dec. 5, 2013, despite some people claiming to remember seeing clips of his funeral on TV.

If you do a google book search for "Western Cape Branch of the South African Council for English education". 1990 - South African Literature (English)" and then type in "Nelson Mandela died," you will find the following quote::

These bogus memories have some people thinking that their memory sucks, but several speculate if they’ve gone to a parallel universe, or if time travellers have gone to the history and faintly affected our present, or if they’re simply losing their freaking’ minds. Whatever it is, the most fascinating thing about the Mandela effect is that so many(millions) of individuals share the same bogus memories.

1.) Mirror Mirror on the Wall.

"Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all?" If you grew up with being obsessed with Disney princesses such as Snow White, that’s beyond a shadow of a doubt how you remember the sinful queen speaking to the mysterious mirror right? Well if it is, you are wrong all along with everybody else who remembers it this way which is almost half of the Disney viewers and followers. I know this is mind-blowing. This one exclusively made me go back and re-watch the original Snow White movie. But no matter how many times you hear it, the quote actually says "Magic Mirror on the wall..."

2.)Looney tunes
Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, the list goes on and we all remember them as the Looney  Toons! As in Looney CarTOONS right?

Wrong.

As it turns out, they're actually the Looney Tunes. Tunes as in songs or music, not Toons as in cartoons, which would make a lot more sense right? Many people are stating that they never remember the Looney Tunes being spelt as tunes but that they specifically remember Looney Toons. Personally, I remember toons also because to me and many other they were crazy fun cartoons hence the Looney Toons. So which one do you remember?

I could go on and on and on and on with Mandela Effects and by the time I finish we'd probably be in a new parallel universe with all new Mandela Effects, so this is where I leave you. Until next time when I come back with more mind-blowing Mandela Effects. Special shout out to Shane Dawson on YouTube found under "Shane" for getting me so deep into Mandela Effects. Be sure to check him out and watch all of his Mandela Effects Videos!
